Electro-galvanised steel panels

Electro-galvanised steel (electrolytic sheet) wall panels for operating theatres and cleanrooms, factory cut and folded, assembled on site with services routed in the wall cavity.

Description

Electro-galvanised steel panels are wall and lining panels made from electrolytic steel sheet — cold-rolled base metal that is zinc-electroplated, then phosphated, passivated, oiled and fingerprint-resistant coated, in commercial grades such as SECC, SECD and SECE. The surface needs no painting, is hard and smooth, and is corrosion-resistant and easy to clean and disinfect, which makes the sheet a standard wall material for operating theatres and cleanrooms. Panels are factory cut and folded and assembled on site by regulated methods, keeping the installation time short; the sealed welded or screw-fixed joints hold the room's airtightness and pressure stability, and wiring and piping run inside the wall cavity. Two systems are offered — hand-made panels (screw or weld fixing) and standard wall panels — quoted per the room drawings and bill of quantities.
