AC FFU group control systems
Central control systems that manage a ceiling of AC fan filter units from one point, bought with AC FFU projects in semiconductor, pharmaceutical and large cleanroom buildings where many units must run and be monitored together.

Description
An AC FFU group control system centrally manages and adjusts many fan filter units at once instead of leaving each unit on its own local setting. The system adjusts the working state of each unit against actual demand, which avoids wasted energy and lowers running cost compared with independent unit control. High-precision sensors and control algorithms keep cleanroom parameters stable, and remote access lets operators check unit status without going on site. The architecture expands by adding or removing units, and it collects operating data for analysing the control strategy and spotting faults early.
Features
- Adjusts each unit's working state against actual demand to cut energy waste and running cost.
- High-precision sensors with control algorithms for stable cleanroom parameters.
- Remote access to unit status and control without site visits.
- Architecture scales by adding or removing FFU units.
- Operating data collection and analysis for control-strategy optimisation and early fault indication.
Applications
- Data centres that need dust-free, constant-condition equipment rooms
- Biopharmaceutical production and laboratory areas
- Semiconductor manufacturing lines
- Precision manufacturing such as optics and aerospace components
- Large cleanrooms with many units to manage
Supply scope
What is supplied, and what stays with the buyer.
- Fixed scope only: controller type and quantity, unit count per group, wiring topology, sensors and software functions are confirmed before quotation.
- Quoted with the AC fan filter units it controls so addressing and interfaces match.
- Control panels, controllers and the addressing plan are supplied; commissioning responsibility is agreed per order.
- Power supply wiring to controllers, network cabling on site and integration with the buyer's building management system stay with the buyer unless quoted.
Configurations
Fixed configurations that can be quoted.
A configuration code fixes the dimensions, electrical data, materials and documents. Quote requests that reference a code skip the specification round.
What we need to quote
Inputs that fix the configuration.
- 01
Number of FFUs to control and how they split into groups
- 02
Control topology preferred (central controller per zone, master-slave chains or network bus)
- 03
Functions required (scheduling, demand-based speed, alarm monitoring, data logging, remote access)
- 04
Sensors and signals to connect (differential pressure, particle counter, temperature, humidity)
- 05
Who installs, addresses and commissions the group control on site
- 06
