Negative-pressure weighing booths
Negative-pressure booths for weighing powder materials: a fan pulls air through primary, medium-efficiency and HEPA stages over the work zone, containing the powder and protecting the operator and the room.

Description
A negative-pressure weighing booth (weighing room) is a containment enclosure for weighing powder materials. A fan draws room air through the booth and exhausts it through a filtration train, holding the work zone under negative pressure so powder is pulled downward and inward instead of escaping into the room; the operator works through an open front with gloves or reach-in access. The filtration train combines a primary stage, a medium-efficiency stage and a HEPA stage in a stainless steel plenum. Negative pressure combined with the weighing sensor arrangement keeps the reading stable against room draughts and dust. Four models cover working widths from 1100 mm to 1900 mm, with airflow from 1400 to 2500 m3/h, power input from 300 to 600 W and noise below 67 dB measured 1 m below the unit.
Features
- Negative-pressure work zone contains powder and protects the operator and the room.
- Three-stage filtration: primary, medium-efficiency and HEPA in a stainless steel plenum.
- Four working widths from 1100 mm to 1900 mm; airflow 1400-2500 m3/h.
- Power input 300-600 W; noise below 67 dB measured 1 m below the unit.
- Automation and display system speeds up the weighing cycle; fault diagnosis and prompts built in.
Applications
- Weighing of APIs and excipients in pharmaceutical plants
- Chemical and microbiology laboratories
- Food ingredient preparation
- Powder handling in research and pilot facilities

Values that appear once across all models in the source table are repeated on each row. Source model codes carried a factory series prefix that was removed; A01 to A04 are size classes, not yet confirmed type designations. The source shows 380/50 V spanning the two smaller models and 220/50 V spanning the two larger models; the supply voltage is confirmed per order.
Supply scope
What is supplied, and what stays with the buyer.
- Booth supplied as a fixed configuration by working width, airflow, filtration stages and control options, confirmed before quotation.
- Quoted with the fan set, three-stage filters, plenum and control panel; replacement filter stages are listed per order.
- Positioning, power connection and ducting to the exhaust or recirculation point on site stay with the buyer or the buyer's contractor.
Configurations
Fixed configurations that can be quoted.
A configuration code fixes the dimensions, electrical data, materials and documents. Quote requests that reference a code skip the specification round.
What we need to quote
Inputs that fix the configuration.
- 01
Working width required and the weighing equipment to be placed inside
- 02
Power supply on site (the source table lists 380 V or 220 V, 50 Hz depending on size)
- 03
Powder characteristics: particle size, quantity per batch and containment target
- 04
Whether exhaust is ducted away or recirculated to the room, and the room cleanliness class
- 05
Quantity and destination country or port
